Wednesday Evenings in November 9th, 23rd and 30th and Thursday 17th
Reservations essential in the dining room only.
We light the Josper every day so why not use it. We will be cooking purely on our Josper Grill for these special evenings. 
NO Ovens, Plancha, Induction Hobs or Hot Cupboards. 
Chicken Livers in a Pot, Chilli Prawns, Steaks, Fish, Lemon Posset made with Chargrilled Lemons, Jospered Peaches with Ic-cream.
(Sorry.....we still need fridges and freezers!)
The options are endless. Chef David and his team will be working their magic.
Rosie will be creating a candle lit dining heaven...Welcome back the to power cut. You have to be a certain age to remember!
(Health a safety might limit these restrictions but we'll do our best)

With the opening of our new bedrooms we have extended our opening hours. Our kitchen will now be open 
Sunday Evening 6.00pm to 7.30pm
Monday Evening 5.00pm to 7.30pm
We look forward to a new era at the Swan


 

We are Hugely Proud of our New Luxury Bedrooms
with triple glazing to shield our guests from outside noises and soundproofing the floors to protect from any noises from below.
They have all been planned and designed to maximise the comfort and 'getaway' feel that is unique to the great British Inn.

Bookings for Our Annual Victorian Day have come flying in, so we have decided to make a weekend of it.
Saturday 10th December
Sunday 11th December.
We
 still have some availability.

Our Three New Bedrooms are available
Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th
at a special rate of £120.00 per room for those reserving tables for the full day on either of these dates. 


For those unfamiliar with the day, we have a
full day starting with...
Bucks Fizz at 9.30am
A Leisurely Eight Course Breakfast at 10.00am
A gentle walk with mulled wine at 1.30pm
A Nine Course Dinner at 6.45pm

Our menu is printed daily to take advantage of the ever changing availability of produce.

We specialise in fish and seafood sourced from native water, sustainable stocks guaranteed by the Marine Conservation Society (MSC).

Our Chefs allow the quality of the ingredients to shine through.

Reservations are taken throughout the pub for anything from a light lunch to celebration meal.

Our Josper Oven, built for us in Barcelona is the simplest of technologies. ""A fire in a box"".

Our newly refurbished kitchens have been built around it as it has been an integral part of ''how we do things'' for 5 years now.

Our Dining Room can seat up to 32 comfortably with direct access on to the rear patio to spread out.

 ""Weather Permitting"" 

The Copper Room in the bar is more cosy and traditional for smaller parties.

Both rooms are available for private parties but be aware that the dining room books up fast and may incur a cover charge for smaller private functions.
