The Unfolding Story

New Developments

Since coming to the Swan all those years ago we have always believed in progressive and organic growth. The site has always had great potential and over the years we have had a full refurbishment, added a contemporary space for dining with direct access onto a sheltered beer garden and built a state of the art kitchen to allow the chefs to express their talents.

This was never the end for us so here we go again!

Mission

'TO REALISE THE POTENTIAL'

This picture shows the Swan in its original form that bares no resemblance to its modern self.

The shed to the right of the pub is now the ultra modern kitchen below.

Vision

We want to give all our customers a modern and fresh experience in a traditional country inn environment. In order to achieve this we have invested in the property and personnel. The team we have is passionate and committed and above all, motivated to help us realize this vision.

The Next Move

A constant source of irritation for us has always been the state of the old beer cellar and the potential to do something with the space.

Work started on the 6th September on what will surely be our final phase in the regeneration of the Swan.

Groundwork has begun on a two story extension the rear of the property which will include new, state of the art beer cellar, much needed disabled loo and extra stores.

The first floor will then be converted into three modern, en-suite bedrooms which we hope will be opening sometime early in the new year.

It's an exciting time for us and one that we hope won't be to disruptive whilst the building work progresses!!

PLEARE BARE WITH US AND WATCH THIS SPACE!

It Continues

Demolishing stuff really is quite therapeutic

The beer cellar has now gone.

Some foundation work is complete.

All a bit of a mess but hopefully it won't be to long before things start coming out of the ground!
